The Arts Center’s Flick Gallery showcases stunning exhibits featuring local artists, many works of art available for purchase. It offers a dynamic space to explore creativity, take art classes, and develop your passion for the arts. Annual events, including exhibit openings, a national juried show, and a student showcase, bring the community together with opportunities to meet artists, enjoy wine tastings, live music, and more.

Sunny Point

Pottery classes, annual events & more!

Sunny Point, located on the East side of Keuka Lake, is buzzing with activity. In addition to the cottage that serves as a temporary home for artist in residence and art retreats there is a pottery studio, appropriately named Annie’s Boathouse Pottery, and a wonderful workshop in the red barn overlooking the lake. Many special events, meetings, classes, and open studios are held here during the warmer months.

The Arts Center of Yates County has classes and workshops for both adults and kids in the Rosenfeld Studio above our continually changing Flick Gallery exhibits with art receptions on Main Street, artist residencies and retreats at Sunny Point — our seasonal location on Keuka Lake, with its pottery studio and additional workshops, the annual Keuka Arts Festival by the lake, community arts grants such as murals, as well as many other community events.

The Keuka Arts Festival is a fine art and skilled craft show held annually along the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail, only a few blocks from downtown Penn Yan. The event is free and will feature live entertainment and activities for families. – The festival will be held rain or shine.

This Gallery is a treasure for visitors This beautiful gallery is a "must see" located in Penn Yan at the north end of Keuka Lake. Theart is of exceptional quality and the exhibitions change monthly, with a wonderful reception with the featured artists present.

Culture If you appreciate art in different mediums you will enjoy this small gallery. Local artists are on display and every year there is an opportunity for young artists, still in high school, to display their talents. Live locally? Or visiting? Look into some of the classes offered. Let you creative talents flow. Found something that really appeals to you? Ask the he curator, it just might be for sale.

Very fine small selection of local artisans' work I always find something interesting to buy in this small art gallery.Lovely jewelry, nice paintings of the lake and environs, and perfect greeting cards by my favorite artist and gallery supervisor, Bonnie Barney. Take a look inside on your next visit. It's a highlight on Main Stree.

What a gift to the community! The Arts Center has a gallery of local/regional art which changes every 5 weeks with a wine/hors d'oeuvres reception. Year 'round classes for all ages are offered upstairs and also at the Sunny Point, Keuka Lake, location. Saving this old bank building is itself a gift to Penn Yan. Any new visitor is "wowed" by the quality of this place.

This gallery is a hidden gem When visiting the Finger Lakes, don't miss this gallery. It is conveniently located in the small village Penn Yan, NY and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a wonderful display of art from the local community and apparently, it changes every 4-8 weeks. Also, there is an old bank vault and door that is quite unique. The door itself is a work of art. Worth a stop.

Charming Arts-Focused Community Center There's a vibrancy at the Arts Center of Yates County that is hard to explain. It's iconic safe which catches your eye as soon as you walk through the door acts as the pull while you witness local artistic talent on your way to see it.The arts center is also a hub for community arts classes, mic nights, and community-building functions which could not be a better backdrop for the citizens of Penn Yan.If you're just visiting, you'll immediately wish you had something like this back home.

The finished art on the sale/show floor were so beautiful and the vault where the jewelry is, is so cool. Prices are fair, very clean, sort of small but just enough for that size

Jewel of PennYan What a treasure we found on the old main street. I was quite thrilled by the breadth of talent represented in this small town's Arts Center. While there on vacation, we lucked out on timing and had our 9-year-old take part in a Saturday kids' workshop, making her own "penny whistle" (which I then learned from her is really a PentiWhistle for the pentatonic scale it plays). Not just art hanging on a wall.
