Mary Frances Millet spent many years learning watercolor with several teachers in New York, Maine and Florida, and has exhibited in many venues in all 3 states. Mary’s paper jewelry designs came one day when she was so sick that she couldn’t move, let alone paint. Mary was inspired by Matisse’s cutouts, and started playing around with different papers, cutting, folding and gluing into them various shapes. She started her own line of jewelry and now has an entire collection of unique one-of-a-kind earrings and necklaces. Mary graduated from Maria College with a degree in Occupational Therapy, as well as a BS in Sociology through classes at SUNY Albany and Ashford University.
