Helga’s passion for painting began in her early 20’s. After a 30 year hiatus raising children and maintaining a successful career, she is back at it with a passion for painting with watercolor. Helga retired to the Penn Yan area and has been inspired by the incredible beauty of the Finger Lakes region. she enjoys painting landscapes, flowers and animals, including pets. She says that painting is one of her life’s special pleasures and she strives to portray this feeling in all of her art.
