Abstracts with Amy Hutto

Come with an open mind and be prepared to experiment, play, and explore abstract painting! Using acrylic paints, markers, crayons, charcoals, inks, and more, you will be guided to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. This class is meant to introduce abstract painting as a means to jump start the painting process, break a creative block you might have or develop your own style of abstract painting through varying media and processes. Most supplies will be provided, but students will need to bring one (1) preferred painting surface sized 16×20 (gessoed canvas or gessoed cradle board). Optional to bring your preferred acrylic paints and any mark making supplies you’d like to use.
