Crocheted Basketry with Irene Worth

Learn the basics of crocheting while making a functional piece for your home! In this class, students will learn how to make a “single crochet” stitch and how to crochet “in the round”. Baskets can vary in size and can be used for a variety of things, including: pencil holder; “catch-all” dish; toy, blanket, or yarn basket; plant-pot holder; and so much more! Students are welcome to bring their own materials, or can purchase yarn from Irene at the start of class for $10-$20 (depending on the size of your project). Crochet hooks are available to borrow or purchase for $5. This class is suitable for all levels, ages 12+.
