Dancing Little Baskets with Evy Tosi

Create your own fabric basket at Sunny Point with Evy Tosi, one of our 2024 Artists in Residence. Evy’s “dancing little baskets” are made by wrapping cotton piping with strips of colorful fabric, using a crochet hook to pull the fabric through the previously attached rows. You’ll learn the basic technique by making a coaster, then build on that coaster to make a small round basket and explore different finishing styles. It’s “fun with a flourish!” No experience needed. Please bring your own fabric scissors. Materials fee of $30 is due at the start of class and includes all materials needed.

Evy is offering a few private classes if you can’t make a class, want advanced instruction (e.g. making different shapes) or like the idea of learning on your own. 90 mins @ $90 which includes materials fee (paid to Evy with cash or Venmo). Contact Evy to schedule a private class: 727-644-8705.
