From Skein to Satchel: Knitting a Purse with Irene Worth

Learn the basics of knitting while making a beautiful accessory for your wardrobe! In this 2-session class, students will learn how to make “knit” and “purl” stitches, how to knit “in the round”, and how to sew on a knitted project. Students are welcome to bring their own materials, or can purchase yarn from Irene at the start of class for $20. Knitting needles are available to borrow or purchase for $5. This class is suitable for all levels, ages 12+.
