“Kitchen” Printmaking with Karen Hyams

Join Karen Hyams at our beautiful Sunny Point lakeside art studio for this fun class in printmaking! Students will learn two traditional printmaking techniques – screen printing and lithography – using inexpensive materials found at home. Students will learn how to prepare a screen for making an image, and how to ink a plate and print a small series of note cards. This class will focus on exploration, experimentation and fun! A supply fee of $15 is due to Karen at the start of class, and includes an embroidery hoop screen, ink, paper, resists and chemicals. Screen print frames will also be available for additional purchase. Suitable for all levels ages 12+.
