Water Color, Loose & Fresh with Nancy Lane

Let’s explore the way watercolor can be loose and fresh! Using simple shapes, we’ll follow a step-by-step process of layering transparent washes. Simple drawings are provided in advance. Learn how to stay fresh, lay down clean washes, and achieve transparency. A group critique at the end rounds out the instruction. Group critiques include problem solving and encouragement. A suggested supply list will be provided, but students can bring materials they already have. 100% cotton rag paper is highly recommended. Backup supplies are available if needed.
