  Delightful
We stopped in to see some of the local talent, and we're delighted to spend about 40 minutes in the place. Some of the work was quite beautiful, and the woman working there was charming.

  Took an oil painting class at the Arts Center with Steve Duprey. This was my first time doing this. I felt very welcomed and learned a lot. Everybody is super friendly and it is a very nice facility.

  A Treasure in the Heart of Penn Yan
An old decrepit building, once a bank, once a municipal court, and for years a decaying eyesore was given a new life by a group of highly dedicated people. We now have an art gallery that is a treasure for our town. The works of exceptionally talented local, and distant, artists are on display. Highlighted artists are featured for several weeks only to be replaced by another spotlighted group of talent. The Center has someone to please any palette from sculpture to painting in many media to jewelry to whimsical items. Don't miss it - spend any length of time there to discover something that might need to go home with you.

  Stop In!
Stop in - right on the Main Street of Penn Yan. If you are visiting Penn Yan it's a nice stop. A lovely one room gallery with lots of art on display (paintings, photography, ceramics, crafts, woodturning/woodworking, baskets, jewelry, wonderful cards) A number of items on display for purchase do tie to Keuka Lake (paintings, photography, cutting boards, etc) All made by local artisans - and the caliber is excellent. A fun and enjoyable stop if you are in the region.

  Signed my granddaughter up to do a kids pottery event.  She made a dinosaur with Linda, who coached her the whole way....because she was the only kid there.....amazing that more parents don't take advantage of these types of events for kids.  She was here for a whole week.....took her to the lake swimming, bowling, other library events and wildlife exhibitions, but she said the pottery class was her favorite of the week!!!!  Thanks Linda!!!!!
